Maya Simmons-Rogers, Esq

Meet Maya Simmons-Rogers Maya Simmons Rogers is the managing partner of Simmons Rogers, LLC. In this role, she serves as outside general counsel to a variety of businesses, including technology companies, fashion designers and influencers, retail stores, franchisees, and non-profits. As outside general counsel, she handles transactional, intellectual property, and litigation matters on behalf of her clients. Prior to founding Simmons Rogers, LLC,  Ms. Simmons Rogers currently serves as the Board Chair for Nic's Kicks, Inc. and served on the executive board of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and the Board of Directors for the Refugee Women's Network, serving as treasurer for four years. In 2017, her firm began hosting free legal clinics in South Georgia featuring lawyers from across the state. As a result of her experience and service, she was recognized as one of The National Black Lawyers Top 40 under 40 in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020. Ms. Simmons Rogers earned her B.S. and M.B.A. degrees, both summa cum laude, from The Florida A&M University and her J.D. degree from The University of Michigan Law School.

Meet Selena Merrill Selena Merrill is a financial advisor that is very passionate about building generational wealth. She guides her clients on a variety of financial matters, including retirement planning, investment planning, and risk management. Selena develops strategies to help individuals, families, and businesses reach financial security as efficiently and effectively as possible. Selena began her career with Peachtree Planning after working as an Information Technology professional for 13 years. After being the go-to financial person for friends, family, and colleagues for many years, she realized she had to follow her dreams and pursue financial planning full time. Active in her community, Selena does pro bono work for the Financial Planning Association of GA. Selena lives in Marietta with her fiancé Richard. In her leisure, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
